About Big Lake Maple
Discover the Artisanal Excellence of New Hampshire's Finest Maple Syrup
Welcome to Big Lake Maple, where the essence of New Hampshire's forests is captured in every bottle of our maple syrup. Founded in 2015 by Kenneth St Pierre, a passionate maple syrup maker, our journey began in the surroundings of Ken's parents' backyard. Here, the first drops of sap were collected, marking the start of an extraordinary venture into the world of maple syrup production.
Our Humble Beginnings: A Family Affair
It all started as a small winter project, with sap collected in milk jugs and boiled over turkey fryers. Ken, along with his father, Marc, initially produced just enough syrup for the family. But soon, the allure of maple syrup making took hold, and Ken was bit by the "maple bug."
Crafting Perfection: The Artisan's Touch
Over the years, Big Lake Maple has evolved, but our core values remain unaltered. We believe in the personal touch - where each batch of maple syrup is a testament to our commitment to quality and authenticity. From modest beginnings with altered oil drums to the establishment of a state-of-the-art sugar shack equipped with a Smoky Lake Maple Evaporator, our journey has been one of constant improvement and unwavering dedication.
Sustainability and Natural Goodness
At Big Lake Maple, sustainability is at the heart of our operations. We cherish our New Hampshire heritage and strive to maintain a harmonious balance with nature. Our maple syrup is not just a product; it's a celebration of nature's purity and richness. Year after year we strive to become more efficient and environmentally friendly.
Our Promise: Pure, Delicious, and Meticulously Crafted
As a small local business, Big Lake Maple stands out for its personal touch. Kenneth St Pierre, our founder and syrup maker, pours his heart and soul into every bottle. This is not just maple syrup; it's a craft, a tradition, and a legacy encapsulated in a bottle. Our #NewHampshireMapleSyrup is more than a sweetener—it's a story of passion, perseverance, and the sweet taste of the American Northeast.
By day Ken is a New Hampshire Fish and Game Conservation Officer and K9 Handler. You might recognize him from hit tv show Northwoods Law on Animal Planet. As a multiple Emmy award recipient, don’t forgot to say hi if you see Ken patrolling the lakes region or playing with Winni downtown.
